Dallas Capital Bank Merging with MidFirst Bank

Dallas Capital Bank announced on June 17, 2026 that it will merge with MidFirst Bank (“MidFirst”), the largest privately and family owned bank in the nation. This partnership with MidFirst will allow us to continue to be privately owned and serve you with the same level of exceptional service you’ve come to expect over the last decade, now with a larger capital base and additional capabilities to support the Dallas community’s growing needs.

The transaction is expected to be completed during the fourth quarter of 2026, and the system conversion is expected to occur in the second quarter of 2027. Until then, we will continue to operate as Dallas Capital Bank.

Both Dallas Capital Bank and MidFirst Bank are committed to ensuring a seamless transition and will provide updates as the completion of the merger date approaches. You will begin to receive important information about the transition early next year.
