Dallas, TX – June 10, 2024 – Dallas Capital Bank announced today that Jason Matthews has been promoted to President, in addition to his role as Chief Banking Officer. He will continue to be responsible for the bank’s various lines of business, including Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Private Banking, Middle Market Banking, Mortgage Warehouse, and Treasury Management, in addition to Marketing. He will continue to report to Douglas E. Hutt, Chairman and CEO.

Matthews joined Dallas Capital Bank in 2015 as Executive Vice President, Commercial Banking, after more than 10 years in Corporate Banking in the Dallas market. In 2021 he assumed the role of Chief Banking Officer.
Matthews is active in the north Texas community, currently serving on the board of Goodwill Industries of Dallas, Inc. and having previously served on the board of Forerunner Mentoring Program. He also served on the 2024 Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Association’s Côtes du Coeur.
Matthews earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate from Baylor University. He lives in Dallas with his wife and two children.
