Doug Hutt

Mr. Hutt is Chairman and CEO of Dallas Capital Bank, and the bank holding company Park Cities Financial Group. Mr. Hutt is a 30-year veteran banker and formerly an executive of Community Bancorp (CBC), where he led the acquisition of $3 billion Superior Bank. Prior to joining CBC, he was with BBVA Compass, where he held nationwide responsibility for Compass Bank’s Corporate and Specialized Industry activities and served as President of Compass Bank, Texas. During his 24-year Bank of America career, Mr. Hutt held a variety of executive level positions including president of Bank of America, Dallas. Mr. Hutt has a long track record of civic engagement, having served on the boards of directors at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, the Dallas Chamber of Commerce, the Dallas Citizens Council and Goodwill Industries.

Larry Makel

Mr. Makel is currently a partner of Dorsey & Whitney LLP, which he joined in 2017.  He was a founding partner of the Dallas office of Patton Boggs, LLP which he joined in 1997, which doubled in size under his leadership to over 120 attorneys.  Mr. Makel has deep roots in Dallas banking, and has founded three successful banking institutions, including Highland Bancshares, Inc., where he was Vice Chairman of the board of directors, Texas Capital Bank, where he was director, and Resource Bank, where he was director and served on the Executive Committee.

Mr. Powell served as FDIC Chairman from 2001-2005, and was named by President Bush as the Federal Coordinator of Gulf Coast Rebuilding, developing long-term rebuilding plans for the region in the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma. Prior to serving as FDIC Chairman, Don was Chairman, President and CEO of The First National Bank of Amarillo. In December, 2008, Mr. Powell was awarded the Presidential Citizens Medal, the second-highest honor a U.S. citizen can receive. He has served on the Board of Regents of the Texas A&M University System and as Director at Bank of America. He currently serves on the board of Humphreys Capital.

Ms. Kissling is the Global President and Chief Operating Officer of Ryan, LLC, a global tax services, software, and technology firm providing an integrated suite of federal, state, local, and international tax services. As Global President and COO, she leads more than 3,000 employees spanning 70 offices across the globe and is responsible for all aspects of service delivery and global shared services operations as well as strategic and enterprise initiatives. Ms. Kissling has written articles for New York University, Institute on State and Local Taxation, where she is a longstanding member of the School of Continuing Legal Education’s State and Local Tax Advisory Board and the Institute for Professionals in Taxation. She is a frequently sought-after speaker and industry thought leader and is actively engaged in the Dallas community volunteering with the National Charity League, Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House, and North Texas Food Bank, where she currently sits on the board of directors and the executive committee  and is chair of the finance committee.
