Dallas Capital Bank recently partnered with local non-profit, Adventure & Victory, for the 3rd consecutive year to host a Destiny Chasers Life Skills course for 10 local women struggling with the cycle of poverty. In addition, the company presented a $7,500 check to the organization, which provides life skills and on-the-job training programs to empower low to moderate-income women.
Dallas Capital employees, Jennifer Sauls, Wendy Blackwell and Doug Staley present a check to Jacqueline Johnson, Executive Director of Adventure & Victory.
The two classes held at Dallas Capital’s office and taught by employees focused on the importance of credit scores and the basics of owning a business, which aligns with the organization’s belief that when an individual is self-sufficient, they have the power to rebuild and transform their lives.
“I’m proud to work for an organization that helps support and empower women by equipping them with the knowledge they need to reach their full potential,” said Jennifer Sauls, Dallas Capital Banking Center Executive and Board Member for Adventure & Victory.
